Christmas Songs

I just love listening to Christmas music! I especially love to play it on the piano and to sing with the choir. I am so excited that our ward is doing a song that I did in High School, "One Child". I absolutely love that song!

I want to know what your favorite Christmas song is. My favorite this year is "O Holy Night" by Josh Groban. I love the way he sings it. So beautiful!! So, what are some of your favorites? I would love to hear! And, just maybe the next time you visit my blog you will hear it playing!

I enjoy a lot of it, but 4 favorites are "Jingle Bell Rock", "The Little Drummer Boy","Do You Hear What I Hear?" and "O Holy Night". As you can see, I sometimes have a hard time choosing favorites. Depends on a lot of things!

I have to agree with you--Josh Groban singing "O Holy Night" is simply amazing. I also love "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," and "The First Noel." I think I'm more of a fan of the spiritual ones...

I LOVE "One Child." I did that both years in junior year. I am finding that my favorites are traditional ones from the hymn book. "Hark the Herald Angels sing" and "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear." I also like a lot that can be found in the Primary Songbook. "Christmas Bells" and "Stars Were Gleaming" in particular. I LOVE thinking about good music. Thanks for such a nice post, Melanie!
